If you used PowerPoint 2013, you won’t see many changes in Microsoft PowerPoint 2016. The interface is basically the same and the changes are just a few small add-ons, like the help menu. Now, some design processes are efficient or automatic: for example, if you start to insert a list of points, PowerPoint will now offer to transform your list into an attractive SmartArt graphic. If you want to create slides the old way, of course, this is still possible.
It is still a standard for presentation design
Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 is basically a slightly better version than its predecessor, with some new features and some general improvements in Office 2016. If you need to give presentations for work or school, it will remain a tool. However, if you don’t like the old version, little has changed here.
